F.S. 363.10 Florida Statutes and Case Law363.10 Contracts limiting liability illegal.—All provisions and stipulations contained in any contract relieving or exempting, or having the effect to relieve or exempt any person engaged in the telegraph business in this state, from the liabilities imposed by law, or purporting to limit the time in which suits may be brought against such person for negligent failure to perform any duty imposed by law, or assumed by any such person to a period of time shorter than the time provided by the statute of limitation of this state, are declared to be against the public policy of this state, to be illegal and void, and no court in this state shall give effect to any such provisions or stipulation contained in any contract whatsoever.History.—s. 5, ch. 6522, 1913; RGS 4392; CGL 6356.
